I need to acknowledge the management of Ricky’s for contacting me to resolve my concerns and to go above and beyond what would have been expected. I am now a happy and heard customer.04 Aug, 2014I was so disappointed! I ordered a medium rare blackened steak to get a classic instead. I sent that back to get a lot of dry spices rubbed onto a very well done steak. I sent that back and was questioned if I really did order the steak I did in the beginning! What horrible customer service to blame me! Third time othe steak was cooked nicely but by that time my companion was done his pizza. Lots of apologies but no offer of a discount for all the mistakes and waiting. They did nothing to encourage us to be back. As someone who has been there a number of times previously, I am very disappointed.
Come on… It’s a low end joint in a low end hotel. My expectations were commensurate with a 30+ year old hotel on Albert street.
Never go back. Breakfast stake to thin to be able to cook properly. don’t have it you wont like it.tried going back this time the food was cold. three times and three times disappointed. service is not that great ether
Awful! Service was terrible. We should have taken it as a sign when it took 20 minutes for someone just to take our order Food came out quickly, BUT my bread was mouldy. Terrible experience.
Disappointing, poor service.
Ok! First! I am a professional red seal chef since more than 20 years. I eat here because I am to lazy to go somewhere else….so I give this restaurant a try! Well, i had rips and chicken. There was a hint of bbq sauce on the rips, i had to order more. Mashed potato out of a pack, Chicken tenderized ( do we need that???). I like chicken with its natural texture…but the taste was ok. Avarage for this kind of restaurant.
What a disappointment!. Ate here 3 times…horrible service each time. The last time we had to wait 5 mins to be seated, when this place was virtually dead. Another 15 min wait to have our order taken by someone rude and pushy. When the food finally came, 45 mins later…it was warm-ish and if distribution says spicy…well I would expect a little bit of spice, not a warm-ish, bland dish.Will Never return or recommend to anyone!
