Still No Espresso Cups (update from last review). It’s been several months since my last review, and they still don’t have Espresso cups. What kind of coffee shop serving Espresso does not have Espresso cups?12 Jan, 2014Good espresso (new beans?). The place is quite pleasant and cozy looking (although some tables at the back seem somewhat crowded; that is they are too close to each other). I had been there before and my visit was not particularly memorable (i.e., I do not remember what I had). During my last visit, however, I ordered a double espresso (and I am picky with my espressos). While I was disappointed that it did not come in a small espresso cup (there was a cup and saucer but the cup was too big for a double espresso), it tasted terrific. It was so good that I had to ask what kind of coffee beans they used. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they were using locally roasted Caliber beans. Way to go Caliber! This was a really awesome espresso.

I love this place! The decor is great and they always feature local art. Their paninis are delicious and go great with one of their yummy cakes. I’m not huge into tea but this place is a tea lover’s dream with tons of fresh tea leaves to choose from. The staff are always pleasant and make a mean latte. I drive 25 minutes just to get there and wontbe stopping anytime soon.

Great place any time of day.. On Sundays they serve freshly made waffles with fresh fruit. They also have the best fresh, warm muffins. Raspberry is my favourite. We have had the chocolate cake which is really good. Haven’t tried the sandwiches or pitas yet.
