Worst customer service ever. Tandoori kabab is perfect example of worst customer service. We placed order at 3:30 PM and was not ready for pick up uptil 5:30 PM althought it was said it would be ready in 15-20 min. Even than they don’t talk to you respectfully and ask not to come to their restaurant again. I would personally recommend not to go to this place ever.
We decided to pick up some food on New Year’s Eve after having been to the restaurant before. We ordered a lamb dish, a chicken dish and a vegetable. The containers were filled to the brim. There was a lot of meat. At another restaurant there seemed to be little meat swimming in loads of sauce. We enjoyed the food and had enough left for the next day. We have eaten a lot of Indian food over the years, both in the UK and Regina and we think this is good food and good value for money. We will definitely gothete again.23 Aug, 2014Very good.. We decided to try this restaurant as it’s a lot closer to us than the others that we’ve tried. We really liked it. The decor wasn’t fancy but it was perfectly ok. We had the buffet. It was quite similar to the buffets at the restaurant on Victoria. The waitress was quiet and friendly. We prefer this to super chatty overly friendly wait staff! It’s a pity that it’s set back from the street and probably easy to miss. I will go back and try something from the menu next time.I would definitely recommend it.
We will never go there again. We went for dinner today and had worst experience ever expected. We placed the order and when we got the food it was not up to mark. The reshmi chicken was pathetic, looked like it was old cooked or warmed more than one time that gave my mouth a good muscle job to chew. Seriously the lady who served us was herself confused with the name of this whether it was tandoori chicken or reshmi chicken. So if you dont have knowledge about food they can serve you anything they want. The curry paneer tikka masala had new taste like every time we go there we order same food but every time we get same name plate with different ingredients with paneer being common ingredient. Finally when time came to order sweet (dessert) I usually prefer ras malai, but out of 5 times we went to this restaurant we got this dish hardly one time every time they give excuse either they dont have it or they are running out or I think since it time to make it they give excuse and try to sell whatever they have made that day. Then why you keep those items on menu which you dont want to serve. I am never going back.
Wow! Lunch buffet delicious & priced well. Always enjoy my lunches at Tandoori Kabab. Lovely staff, very tasty selections. I can’t believe it’s not crowded at noontime. More diners should seek it out.
If you want true North Indian tasting food this is the place to be. I am an Indian and in search for the true north Indian flavor I have tried all the Indian restaurants in Regina but none of them even come close to this place. Dont get me wrong other places have their pros too but the one problem I have always had with Indian places is the loss of actual authentic flavor to make it more Western tasting food. Although there is nothing wrong with that but I dont think people all over the world try and love Indian food because its altered to taste like the food they eat on a daily basis anyway. People love Indian food because of its difference in taste and the blend of flavors of all the different types of spices that Indian food has. Tandoori Kabab never disappoints int hat respect. I eat here every few weeks and its always fresh and full of all the flavors I am would if I were back in India. So if you really want to know what Indian/Pakistani food really tastes like without having to travel halfway around the world, Tandoori Kabab is the next best thing because it is the only one that stays true to its roots.
What a BUFFET!!!!!!! Awesome. We went for the buffet and there weren’t much customers when we walked in at 11:30, but within 30 minutes, the place was half full!The environment was very quiet. The service was great and quick.The food was really good, it wasn’t as spicy as i had anticipated, but since it was the all-you-can-eat-buffet, its understandable that it would be mild.(you’ll end up having a lot of sauce on your plate, but you can wipe it with the naan and eat it !)My favourite thing was the naan, it was very fluffy and soft. butter chicken, veg pakora,chana masala, …..every item was so delicious. Certainly, we will be back!!!!
Lovin it. Delicious and authentic food at a reasonable price. Flavourful and all in all fantastic. The people who run this place are also really nice. Highly recommended.
