I’ve only ever ordered from here on Skip The Dishes. Had the beef donair… it was so good. My rating is based only one ordering from Skip The Dishes (I just realized abbreviating that would have been a bad idea). I have not eaten in the restaurant.
Beef Donair (Beef Don’t Dare). Ordered a beef donair, and it was nothing but little scraps of beef, cooked so hard that it nearly impossible to eat, not tender at all, very overcooked. These folks need to make a trip to Vancouver and visit Donair Dude to see what a real donair is like. I give this food a big thumb’s down on not only the quantity but the quality is not what it should be.
Child cook?. The reason they put it on the grill is if you like it crispy. I personally like mine crispy but when they put mine on the grill some little girl was cooking it all on her own and she burnt it. It was disgusting and I couldn’t eat it. She was also handling a deep fryer while wearing plastic gloves that barely fit on her hands.. I think there’s just an accident waiting to happen in this place!
Donair not bad; ambiance depressing. The donair pita is pretty good and packed with meat. The place has a deserted, depressing look to it even when there are people there. Also the domair is sometimes cold and gets reheated on the grill before they make the sandwich but, despite this, it tastes very descent and does not taste reheated. They really need to spruce up the place though and would prefer if the donair were hot directly from the spit.
