A Wonderful Place to Eat. If you are looking for a healthy, inexpensive, delicious lunch in Saskatoon’s inner city, this is the place to go. I have been once for a cinnamon bun and tea and once for their meatloaf sandwich. Both were excellent (and I am not normally the type to try a meatloaf sandwich). The food is very fresh, everything is made from scratch and Chef Jenni and Pam are lovely. The prices are very low and the environment is very kid-friendly. Highly recommended!
Boxcar Caf – Delightful Treats and Great Lunches!. The Boxcar Caf has re-opened at Station 20 West, and the menu is thoughtfully prepared with delicious soups, wraps, sandwiches and treats. To date, I have had the pleasure of enjoying two delicious and perfectly seasoned soups, and an amazing whole-wheat cheese pizza. The freshly made cinnamon bun was my treat for today! The food here is absolutely wonderful. I am looking forward to having lunch here often!
Delicious baking and REAL food for lunch. The Boxcar Caf recently reopened at Station 20 W and it’s better than ever. Chef Jenni and her sidekick Pam have infused the menu with wholesome, innovative and local flare. Both soups I’ve tried were perfectly seasoned and substantial, the salad changes daily and involves delicious and creative combinations of veggies, and I could rave about the Garlic Pesto Egg Salad and Pea Shoot Wrap for days!
