Great food. Nice atmosphere.The coconut rice was delish and the cold beef starter inspired me to be more creative with my own starters at home. I’ll definitely be back.
Service is always so great here. I love their veggie options. Ive enjoyed the ginger shiitake mushrooms numerous times, as well as the vegan spring rolls. Another one of the few places Ill get dessert too – the Nutella Banana spring rolls are perfect to split with someone if you prefer a smaller dessert. I recently added seafood to my diet for a collagen disorder, so I got the spicy Cantonese shrimp. It was underwhelming but I should have known, as I never liked battered shrimp in the past, but it was worth a try. Id probably get a non-battered shrimp dish next time. A few years ago I was there for a five course New Years meal and it was very good. I remember there being a salad served in a bowl made of julienned potato that was possibly shallow fried? It tasted like hickory sticks! like whaat? Howd they do that? Very creative dishes at this place.
I truly believe this to be the best restaurant in Saskatoon – a city filled with great restaurants. Its a must try for vegans and carnivores alike.
Odd Couple is one of Saskatoons gems. Its a winning combo of good food and good vibes. The staff are always charming and the attention to detail that has been put into the atmosphere and the menu are palpable. Looking for an incredible vegan meal that would make anyones mouth water? Gluten free? Want to take your meat & potatoes uncle somewhere that youll enjoy too? Craving familiar dishes like spring rolls and fried rice? Seeking something a little more authentically Asian and unique? Odd Couple has it all. This is the number one place we take out of town guests and its always a hit.
Really disappointed in the service. The owner is rude and arrogant. I tired of being treated like an inconvenience so we have stopped going. Its too bad because the food is good but I like being treated with respect too.
We made a reservation and got to sit by the window, which was nice for a summer night. The food was Amazing and delicious. We can’t wait to go back. This place has a great atmosphere. Our server was so pleasant and had perfect timing with everything (?Linsday I think). We all totally loved the vegan gluten free spring rolls and the sauce. Everything was really unique in flavour and very delicious. All of us enjoyed our main courses too. We will be back.
Absolutely delicious food! Creative menu, lovely presentation, such satisfying combinations. Completely in love with this place. Highly recommend.
