I’ve been to this place a few times and it’s okay, but the last time I went was really awful and I don’t think I’ll be going back. I ordered the tom yum soup and when it came out, it was this gross brown colour. It had this weird burnt taste and was just gross. I complained to the server about it because I thought it was the wrong soup (tom yum is supposed to be a nice bright red with lots of spice). I got a hot and sour soup instead. It looked and tasted the exact same. Both were disgusting and I couldn’t eat them. It was really disappointing.My partner got the ginger beef and rice. It was okay and I ate his food instead of my own.
not good, I ordered beef and beef ball noodle soup, it came without mung bean sprouts, basil, lime, and taste too sweet. It isn’t a right Vietnam noodle soup.
Everything interior is red. Really a small place for me. Didn’t like chicken fried rice as it was so bland. Stir fry veggies was another negative if I ever went back it would be for the rice noodle soup and spring rolls. Service was mediocre.
we went there for a quick lunch as my car was getting service done in the same area.The interiors are clean but everything is Red Colored. and it was dark in side the restaurant. It didn’t bother me a lot though.I ordered a chicken dish with coconut gravy. I had requested to make it hot.Food came with in 10 mins. Quantity wise it was good. But i didn’t see a lot of chicken and had a over load of green pepper.The gravy was not hot. It was not a big concern as flavor profiles can be subjective…. whats hot for me might not be hot for others.. I added extra hot sauce on my plate.The sauce was okie…..the amount of rice that comes with the plate was too much. less gravy more rice = left over dry rice…It is not very expensive. 10$ for lunch is not bad.1st Servers who helped us was friendly….2nd server who helped was not very interested in our table…. when we paid she didn’t feel it was important to thank us for the business.I will not go to this location just because it is out of the way and can find better places close to were i work and live.There is nothing unique at this restaurant that i would recommend it to anyone.
Food was miles ahead of what was expected, will definitely eat here again. Service was good, very polite. We ate in restaurant, clean warm atmosphere.
I ordered for take out on a Sunday. The lady said it would take a half an hour for it to be ready, ended up taking two hours. I decided to give this place a second chance. I ordered for take out on a Friday evening. The rice was super burnt, the ginger beef was soggy and had more green peppers then actual meat, spring rolls were so small and definitely not worth 7$. Overall, the food was not the greatest and not worth the price. I will not be eating at this place again.
