Very loud bar with lots of tvs. All showing a different sporting event on them. Our waitress is fast to serve, friendly, and keeps are table clean and drinks full. Shock top, sangrias, and cranberry drinks for the table. All flavorful and resented nicely. Canadian cheese bread is huge and loaded with cheese, honey boneless wings are sweet and sticky, burger arrives with poutine, and steak is cooked rare as ordered. Potatoes with steak are undercooked, and garlic toast has no garlic. Fun time with great service and company.
This place used to be a staple for me and my friends for a good weekend brunch. The last couple visits however have changed my stance. Food still is enjoyable but the service has gone downhill. On this last visit I was at a table of 7 and three of the seven plates were incorrect. We said to the server that brought out our food (different server than our main server) that the plates were messed up and she just turned around without saying two words. The mistakes with the food were not a big enough deal to send back and wait another 10 min and I most definitely am not placing all blame on our server as when the bills came out everything was put in correctly. Unfortunately this is not the first time that i have ordered off the menu and not received what I ordered. I like to give places 3 chances before having an opinion on whether the bad service is just a fluke or something consistent. Hopefully this review is taken into consideration and some better training will occur with both kitchen staff and serving staff.
My boyfriend and I always go there. The service is always awesome and management as well. We pretty much always order the garlic fingers (that’s not what they call them but I can’t remember) as they are the closest thing I found to back home garlic fingers (New-Brunswick). Thumbs up!
I absolutely love the patio! Nice Job. My wife and I used to go to Canadian Brewhouse at least once or twice a week for supper and a few drinks. We would usually end up spending around $70 – $80 per visit every time. Not any more. The entire reason we loved going there is because Canadian Brewhouse used to serve Hoegaarden. My wife and I would order this and relax either infront of all the ball games or out on the patio. Apparently this is no longer the case. Even on your website’s main page there is a picture proudly showing a cold glass of Hoegaarden, glistening. Misleading! I was told that there were other brands that come close, but that is just not so. Its too bad that we will now be taking our business to another establishment that carries what they say they have. I.E. Hoegaarden! Canadian Brewhouse, try to serve what you advertise!
