Excellent lunch here. Service was fast which was good because we were in a hurry. Kapow shrimp to start were hot and very spicy. The lunch size mac and cheese was excellent. Very cheesy but it did need a bit more salt and pepper to spice it up.
Appalling service. Server didn’t show up for what seemed like 20mins, after getting our drinks and after we were finished eating. Gave us containers to pack our food and walked off when we saw them pack for other customers. No one gave two shits about us asking for service, coffee was cold, food was whatever. Service was terrible.
Tired of Waiting when No Reason For It.. We waited to be seated for over 30 minutes yet there was 1 table in the lounge and 4 tables in the restaurant that sat empty but yet dirty for the entire time?? There were only two waitresses that virtually ran to try to clean tables whilst all others seemed oblivious to the task. One waitress assigned an area seemed overwhelmed with the 4 seated tables and one large 8 party group and left two tables dirty for the entire time we were there. The shift manager solely took menus from time to time to seat guests and or moved dirty dishes from one table to the next thus not solving the problem but compounding it. There was no team work and or direction. The meal was great and enjoyed by all 4 of us. Our waiter stood out as far as his polite, courteous and expeditious service which was a stark contrast to others on the shift. We like the location, the menu variety, and the food and would just wish they would get it right. Add a bus boy with a tub/tray to clear tables during peak meal times, have servers advise the front concierge when tables are free, and get the turns and velocity on your sales receipts/ per seats available/per hour. Cudo’s for the few that were highly motivated and consciencous and tried to attempt to speed up the problem which raised awareness of what was lacking and that was leadership, a system and direction. We will give it one more try…
The steak was not good at all! Service was good though
Very disappointing you used to be able to eat the ribs falling off. They were so hard barely came off the bone lots of fat. The appetizer ribs were really horrible very very hard could not even bite into them. The beans did not have beans in them there was a bunch of meat it only like a half a teaspoon of beans it was absolutely ridiculous. I have no idea what kind of meat was in the beans but it was ridiculous it was nothing but little hunks a fatty meat !!!my steak was tasteless bland no flavor and very tough could not even cut it …very disappointing experience I use to love that place the food used to be so delicious I don’t know what happened…
Nice surroundings , staff is fine. Good quality has taken a nose drive. The Montreal sandwich is like eating rubber bands and the Caesar salad dressing has absolutely no taste, like eating paste glue.
Used to be a favorite. Used to be able to sit in lounge and avoid sitting next to families with kids. But know there is kids running around in the lounge. Have wait to be seated in the lounge. Hostess have no idea. Montana’s should be careful there is too many restaurants in saskatoon to have that kind of service.
