Second time coming to this restaurant…first time the food was to die for…this time not so much, we had a new waitress and she was fine but the food just did not impress us.
I would actually give this place 4.5 star rating. I had the million $ quartet burger (beef patty with pulled pork, cheese, lettuce, and tomato) with fries. The flavours were great. Even the drinks were delicious. The only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 stars is because the burger buns should be toasted on both sides. The burger had as much texture to it as McDonalds’ burgers so the texture of a toasted bun would add a nice contrast to the texture of the existing burger (soft and mushy).
Well….. we had booked a reservation for 6:15, four of us. With two young kids we showed up at 6:26. Our table was given away because we were over ten minutes late. (Im sure there is a better way to say that than telling the customer it is their fault. Sorry, just a bit busy but a table will be available right away) Seems pretty obnoxious to say we gave your table away. Used the restroom and the paper towel was empty. I would not say that it was full but to he staff it was like it was lined up out the door. They made a table for us after another ten minutes or so. Sat down and ordered a beer with clam. Beer came after a while no clam, had to remind the waitress the next time she came by. One of the kids ordered a milk shake and that took quite a while. When our food came out, the table they had just set for us only had one set of cutlery. Tried using ketchup, and that was empty as well. We had empty glasses and plates on the edge of the table. Waitresses would walk by but not grab them. Had to ask one waitress to take the rubbish away and she gave the impression that it wasnt her job or something. After the meal, went to wash my hands, still no paper towel. The food was ok. Nothing special. I wouldnt recommend as a place you HAVE to try. Just did not feel welcome from the one we showed up. Weak
