Alchemy Cafe is run by husband and wife team Sofia & Florian, who wish to bring to the small community of Dawson a new way of relating to food and each other by supporting local food, fair trade organic coffee, sustainable farming practices, creativity and a sense of community that values good conversations, sharing of stories and information. Alchemy Cafe is one of the only establishments in Dawson that does not serve alcohol, which makes it child & youth friendly. Alchemy cafe takes into consideration people with food allergies who find it hard to eat out when all that is on offer is burgers & fries. We wish to give people an alternative to the usual north american fair and promote healthy eating practices in a country where obesity is an epidemic. All our sauces, dips, dressings, cakes & desserts are made in Alchemy Cafe kitchen. You won't find fresher food in Dawson than at Alchemy Cafe. At Alchemy Cafe we pride ourselves in the best quality food, coffee, smoothies and the only fresh juice in Dawson. If you are looking for cheep fast food- this is probably not your place. Definitely check this place out! Very fresh and delicious breakfast options and amazing coffee too. Great service. I would have went multiple times but sadly they close on Monday/Tuesdays.
Good organic vegetarian food, prices drinks and food, but good food, small portion, it has a fun task for customer, if you do 30 push up or 40 jump squat, you get 1 free shot
We kept going back to Alchemy because the food and coffee were so great, and the staff is so friendly. This is a casual café (you order at the till) with a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
We had a good cappuccino a few times during our stay in Dawson City. The cafe also provides organic meals and is popular by the younger people of Dawson.
