Bella Oriente is a surprisingly fancy restaurant in an otherwise run down part of Quinta Normal. The large seating area was pretty empty when we arrived, so we took a seat right in front of the TV to watch a game while we ate. The waitress was really nice, not the fastest but she made up for it by her friendliness. I ordered the pollo mongoliano. The dish was decent, flavorful, nice presentation, and the portion size just right, although not really the flavor I was expecting based on other carne mongolianos I’ve had in the past. Based on the food options in the area I would recommend Bella Oriente as another option to the normal fast food joints around.
