I got a tasty cheese empanada to go while visiting. It was tasty but very greasy since it was fried. I happen to like them not fried but it was still good!
We were on Easter Island for 2 nights and we ate here twice because their empanadas are honestly the best empanadas any of us have ever eaten.
Empanadas here are large, served hot and very good. However, we found the best on the island to be the shrimp and cheese empanadas at Anakena beach — last stand on the left.
