Indian cuisine has its origins in ancient trade routes which meandered from India through to China and into Central Asia. Epic journeys undertaken along these roads set in motion the flavours, spices and aromas of the Indian food, culture and religion. The restaurants layout invites guests to recreate these historical Silk Road travels, from the faade of a traditional Chinese house to a Buddhist monastery, through the Sun Temple of Konark and the Shiraz monuments of Persia, and culminating in a Turkish-style pavilion
