The Nest gastrolounge -our dishes are to be shared, the cocktails are sipped Muse has collaborated with Bacardi to develop The Nest, featuring Grey Goose -the French luxury vodka. The Nest is a gastrolounge -a cocktail lounge with a full kitchen, offering hand-crafted drinks and dishes in a 'sharing' style. The atmosphere is contemporary and stylish, but relaxed, where you will feel like you're in your own cool living room, with a variety of seating styles -mostly cozy sofa and arm-chair, but also bar-type seating and regular dining tables. The ambience builds through the evening, and then 'chills' later, but always allows for conversation and discovery. Our lounges are built around a showcase bar and open kitchen, and feature 3 terraces and VIP room facilities. A highlight is our Martini & Raw Bar, where we prepare ice cold dry martinis and perfectly-paired raw, cured and smoked seafood dishes, prepared to order right in front of you. Foods of Russia and Scandinavian countries, where vodka is the drink of choice, have inspired our 'Far North country cuisine'. Unique, super fresh ingredients are key to our culinary inspiration. The Nest loves seafood from icy cold waters, herbs, fruits and berries, pickled vegetables, citrusy flavourings, chilis, and large specialty cuts of smoked and charcoal-grilled meats. We have also drawn inspiration from the philosophy 'farm-to-table', whereby foods from the sea, beach, forests, sky and fields are specially hand-selected and prepared to highlight their own unique freshness and beauty. Considered the first gastrolounge in China, inspired by the concept in other cosmopolitan cities internationally, The Nest brings a truly unique experience to Shanghai.
