Tom's Tea house in yu garden. located outside of garden(near the exit). Stands on an antique architecture constructed during the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty. Originally, it was built as the rear hall of the Town God's Temple, where people prayed for prosperty and fortunate offsprings it was ruined during the Cultural Revolution and deserted until its restoration in 1972 when President Nixon made an historic visit to China.
