WUJIE believes in the convergence of food and art. The process of creating great food is in itself a form of art, and we strive to continuously fuel our culinary imaginations through beauty in the small things that surround us. Our vision is to promote a vegetarian diet as part of a healthy and more environmental way of life. In line with this, we traverse the world looking for the very best products of the earth, starting with our local farming communities, the produce of which are then transformed via unwavering dedication to fundamental techniques, to create food that is as exciting to the palate as it is a feast to the eyes. Every floor of our building is designed to correspond to the five elements of Chinese philosophy: water, wood, fire, earth, and metal, which the Chinese use to describe the never-ending cycle and balance of nature. These five elements explain the relation of the microcosm of the body, our various emotions and organs, and its linkage to the universe and seasonal cycles. The Chinese believe that the balance of these five elements, via the selection of complementary foods, form the basis of a healthy body and mind. Our penthouse space is also available for rent; enjoy this contemporary space, the chic rendezvous location for social and business gatheringscomplete with a picturesque park view, natural lighting, projection screen for presentationsand is flexible to suit any event.
