Established in 2004, A Bu Lu Zi is Jiuzhaigou's only gourmet Tibetan restaurant. Ke Zhu is our highly trained head chef and he has created a menu which is a mix of traditional and contemporary Tibetan food. Zhuo Ma hosts the family restaurant and looks forward to welcoming you. Many people visit Jiuzhaigou and miss any exposure to Tibetan culture. We enjoy introducing guests to Tibetan culture through food as well as our Eco Lodge and Home Stay experiences. Good, traditional Tibetan cuisine served in an atmosphere that made groups, families and solo travelers feel equally welcomed. I was traveling solo and was left to dine and read at my leisure.
We arrived at 18:30. Were told very few menu options left. We ordered soup with meat and vegetables. Waited for more than 40 minutes. Food arrived half cooked and cold. The place was very cold. No heating. Staff was not polite.
What can I say??!!Simply amazing food.. And the nicest, friendliest staff. I had the Tibetan style shepherds pie, whilst my boyfriend took a yak dish.. Delicious!Nice and cosy with lovely decor!!Superb!
Initially dubious I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious! Never thought I’d like yak but it was great. Service was impeccable and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely highly recommend.
