Basilico Italian Restaurant offers good Italian food in the very center of Chengdu city, just five minutes walking from Tongzelin subway station. The Restaurant is on the third floor (use elevator), near a small car park (so you can also conveniently park your car). Entrees, risotto, pasta, pizza, meat, fish and cakes are available. The head chef is Italian. The restaurant is big and very elegant.Details

This place is very good, I couldn’t believe that I found such good Italian food in China. The proprietor is a very nice man that will accommodate requests. Nice selection of wine. This is a place to return to again and again!
Limited choice and moreover 2 of the appetizers we selected in the menu were not available. Finally my colleague selected another dish which was never served. Poor service, no one can understand English, Food just so-so. Be aware that they don’t accept foreign credit cards.
S was the fifth time I dined in this restaurant with business partners and while I know more authentic Italian restaurants, this one is consistently serving good quality food, something I miss too often in this part of China
