The street entrance is that of a food shop, the restaurant is in a nice court inside that one reaches through the shop.Food was very good and the waiter helpful and smart, he understood our needs without speaking English!
Very good local food for surprisingly affordable price. Great place to have lunch when visiting Lijiang Daylan Ancient Town. Staff don’t speak much (pretty much none) English but is very forthcoming nevertheless.

Solo traveler so only ordered one dish, mushroom stifry. Bland. Staff were quick to help and really fun. But i wouldn’t go back as value was also not there.
The Amayi Naxi restaurant offers excellent local dishes (and a good English-language menu). We really enjoyed the chicken-mushroom-tofu hotpot and the rice in bamboo recommended by other reviewers.
