Humus, la Cocina Safdie, was created to fill Medellns need for fabulous hummus, and is one of the only places, if not the only place, where humus can be found and purchased in Medelln! The hummus is home-made by me, using a family recipe of my grandafathers from Syria. Humus comes in three varieties, the Classic, Roasted red pepper, and hot chili pepper. Other varieties are available upon special request. Humus, la Cocina Safdie, can currently be found in Lenteja Express in the Centro of Medellin, Ceres Organic Market in Poblado and individual orders can also be made to be delivered by phone or email. Sides of pita and cucumber slices are also available with orders. Hummus is a healthy, delicious and speedy alternative to your average Antioquian food. Salud, Amor, Familia
