About
Altiplano Cocina Tradicional is a restaurant of Bogotan's food, it rescues de ingredients and cooking techniques of our region , giving a unique experience for de people who comes and eats here, home made food , tasty, a fast and nice service. The decoration of the restaurant tries to gives the sensation of being in a traditional house of the earle 1900's, the ancient houses of our grandmothers, black & white pictures all around the place telling us the history of the city. the floor was made specially to bring back to our memories our grandma's house. some of the walls have newspapers collage with the most important news in the last centruy history. you will find traditional plates such as: Puchero Santafereo Lengua Alcaparrada Cocido Boyacense Mazamorra Chiquita Sancocho de Gallina Fritanga Santaferea Rabo de Toro Ajiaco Santafereo Sopa de Coli Cuchuco con espinazo Huesitos de Marrano Sobrebarriga en salsa.Details

I went today and the service is amazing! Very kind and gentle people! The best traditional food in town! Recomendated!!!!! Ask for de rabo in salsa and the frijoles con codo!!!Tartuffo as desert is the best option with an amazing coffee they sell!
