The young Tico who runs this restaurant grows much of his own food, and gets the rest from friends who grow locally. The food was great, and was a welcome change from rice and beans.
The TICO (costa rican) Chef and his Californian Wife are the owners of this LOCAL restaurant. THey have great vegetarian alternatives. AMAZING YUCA FRIES on Coconut Oil. BEST PANCAKES EVER!!! made with their own CURED BACON
We had dinner at this charming restaurant and it was easily one of the best meals in our 2 week vacation. Locally sourced food and a fun atmosphere! The mojitos didn’t quite measure up to some we had tried elsewhere but everything else was wonderful.
