.Cafe Tico is many things: it's a confortable place to sit and enjoy a rich cup of coffee on our shaded patio, or take it to go.Cafe Tico is also a gift shop, we offer a selection of gurmet coffee from small coffee farmers, honeys, jams and hot sauce made in Costa Rica. We home made bread and pastries, all the milk yogurt , butter and cheese that we use are from local farmers.Details

This place was amazing! They have the best breakfast/lunch at extremely affordable prices. The staff are friendly. I even got to see some wildlife while enjoying my coffee. I visited Cafe Tico several times during my visit to Tamarindo.

We loved our VERY filling, inexpensive breakfast. In a strange location, but worth making it off slightly the beaten path.
Nice breakfast, we got the breakfast burrito and iced coffee. Super good food, burrito was more than I expected. Right in front of the book store.
