Very good photo opportunities of hummingbirds. The shop has exhibitions of art and fine nature photos. Good place when waiting for a return transport.
Not very fancy, rather pricey but more or less the only option if you want coffee after visiting the cloud forest. They have humming bird feeders outside so a nice place to watch them eat and get some good close up pictures.
The owner do everything from scratch. Great choice of sandwichs, quiches, and other nice snacks. Watch out for the sweet cakes, you might put on a few kilos 🙂
After an incredible hike through Monteverde, we finished our trip with coffee and pastries, while watching the hummingbirds. Could anything be more perfect than that?
What a cure little coffee shop. Stopped in here when we were driving out of Monte Verde. Very quick and delicious coffee. Also just as beautiful as the picture shows.
