I was introduce to Theo’s Malibu Bar by a friend over a year ago. This has now become my favorite watering hole with delicious menu choices. Their daily special are hard to beat and gets me returning for more.
A friendly mix of Ticos and Gringos who will tell you stories of the good old days of San Jose. Attractive barmaids and, if you’re lucky, an appearance by Theo himself. Good pub food and drinks at fair prices.
Great bar, just remember that most of the girls are working. Everyone is very nice,bar is a blast. Great jukebox. Cheap and good drinks. My favorite hang out in Barrio Amon. May seem sketchy, but is a fun and safe place. Pura Vida.
This is a fun bar with a pretty darn good restaurant. At least the food was tasty. Lotta old gringos visit here and they’re a hoot to talk to. Prices are great. Good spot for lunch & suds.
