The Castillo de Farnes is a non sophisticated bar and cafe placed in the corner of Monserrate Street, very near to the National Museum of Fine Arts and Manzana de Gomez five stars hotel. Its a place for people who decide to escape from business meals, fixed schedules, twitter and facebook mania, in order to just sit in a calm place, and watch the world of the city. Flags from several countries and cloth logos of soccer teams will welcome you to relax for a while, take a cortadito and order the best paella in town. The bartenders are very friendly, as they were in the times when Ernst Hemingway visited the place to talk about basque playball.
