About
Welcome to our restaurant, Na spce (At the Granary). This historical building was originally wooden and constructed prior to around 1554, and in 1750 it was rebuilt as it looks today, in stone, by Count Jan Vclav Breda. The whole Nov dvr site was used as farm buildings for the Kyperk estate (in 1950, Kyperk was renamed Letohrad). Subsequent to 1947, the granary building was used to store grain, and in 1965 it was badly damaged through the construction of eight grain silos within the premises of todays restaurant. The present owners, Drahomra and Pavel Tacl, renovated the site beginning in autumn 1996 and converted it into a Social Centre (AZYL restaurant in the basement, Na spce restaurant, garden terrace restaurant and the extensive Museum of Crafts). It opened on 30 April 1999.
