Food: We had the food for 2 people and some other main dishes (ribs and a chicken dish) and shared. All the food was good. The group really liked the sausages and the pork dishes. The ribs were smoked before cooking and so were not what we expected. They were tender and well cooked though. Service: The waiter tried quite hard. We were a large group and the cook did not have all the meat cuts to make all the dishes, so we negotiated around what he had. Ambience: It looks and feels medieval. They have excellent mead for those who like it and will even serve your Pilsner with mead in it if you so desire. Negative: They allow smoking during lunch and one older man sat reading the sports results and chain smoking for half an hour while we were eating at the next table. Rude people can be anywhere, which is why rules are necessary.
