Cafe Retro is a non-profit cafe with location right in the heart of Copenhagen. Our cafe is uniquely decorated in a charming old building with large comfortable sofas, fireplace and retro wallpaper. All this helps to offer a relaxed and homelike atmosphere. Yet we are a special cafe for three further reasons. Firstly, the coffee shop and everything around it exclusively driven by our sweet volunteers. They have tasks from servicing the bar, arrange music concerts and other events, monthly art exhibitions and ensure that all these activities when your ears. Be sure to smile at them when in receive your drinks, then you are sure to get a huge smile back. Second, our cafe non-profit. This means that the profit we earn does not go in our own pocket. What does the profit so for? Here is the third reason for our cafe is so unique. We donate all the profits we earn. In the nearly 10 years since the cafe was founded in 2014, we have continuously supported certain projects in Africa and India by donating the profits we earn annually. Cafe Retro is part of a great organization called Club Retro, a charity which has projects where they help people in need from third world countries. Association Retro also owns Cafe Retros sister cafe Retro Norrebro which opened in 2010.
