St. Gertruds Monastery(St. Gertruds Kloster) is an ambitious restaurant located in a beautiful, historical setting where the French kitchen meets Nordic cuisine and high quality-wine is served to create the ultimate dinner experience. We are opening the new St. Gertruds Monastery where you can treat yourself to a great selection of seasonal la carte-courses and menu. Our focuses are fresh ingredients, high quality, creativity and passion - all this, to ensure you an amazing and memorable day or evening. The Monastery is dated back to 1397 and named after the patron saint, Saint Gertrude. The atmosphere and history devoted by the Monastery, are reflected as the classical features in our menu, which you can enjoy in authentic and candle-lit surroundings. An exquisite glass of wine is always ensured as Fine Wine Invest has stocked our wine cellar with a great variety of exclusive wines. As an unique proposal, it is also possible to choose wine from private wine-enthusiasts collections. You are welcome to book a tour of the wine cellar, where an introduction to the wine club and the benefits of wine investment is being told as well. The restaurant has separate rooms for special occasions and events. Amongst these are the Jesus Room for intimate dinners, the Monk's Room, the Confession Room and the great Prayer Hall.
