Fleisch is a combined butcher shop, restaurant and bar located in the center of the Meatpacking District in Copenhagen, locally known as "Kodbyen". The founders of Fleisch had a dream of bringing back the butcher shops to "Kodbyen", and Fleisch is exactly that dream come true. Meat is the essence of Fleisch: The bar serves bacon-infused bourbon, the restaurant serves meat in a number of ways, the butcher sells organic meat cuts every day - and according to Danish butcher shop traditions, freshly made open sandwiches with homemade cold cuts are sold at lunch. Fleisch opened in July 2015.
