Cafe Habibi, started in 2016 by students from Jyderup Hjskole, and is housed in the old bank, Skarridsgade 29 in Jyderup. Cafe Habibi is a socioeconomic cafe, a association for which you can join and volunteer. Cafe Habibi is carried out by volunteers and receives revenues from general cafe operations (coffee, tea, cake, sandwiches, tapas, beer, snacks, wine and soft drinks) as well as cultural events, concerts and exhibitions. Cafe Habibi focuses on organic and as far as possible local food. Any future profits should go to social and cultural initiatives that can strengthen Jyderup as a living trading city and the unity of the city.
