Caf El Jinete a British owned caf offering the best Espresso coffee made from Arabica beans along with Club sandwiches guaranteed to fill and offers a Pub Gourmet type menu with only the best hand selected foods. The Sirloin Steak (bife de Chorizo) really is the ecuadorian equivalent of the Aberdeen steak due to the highland cattle. Our burgers are made from fresh ground selected pieces of pure beef made into the famous Hamburguesa Delux with cheeses, rocket, bacon mixed grilled veg and mushrooms and fresh cut chips. The British food is fantastic. Freshly prepared, large portions, and good presentation. Genuine British food is hard to find in Ecuador. The fish and chips (fish cooked traditionally in beer batter) is wonderful. I have also had the full English breakfast. What a feast!

On our way back to Quito from Otavalo we were so lucky to find this place in Cayambe. Excellent environment, great food and service and music. My daughter said everything was delicious. For sure we will come back when in Cayambe.
