Stylishly renovated cafeteria/restaurant in the heart of Helsinki, in one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, Ateneum Art Museum. Great views. Good variety of confectionaries. Cozy atmosphere.
After a couple of hours in the gallery, you feel like a bite to eat and this bistro cafe is right next to the Exit and beacons you in. The food is tasty, good quality and good value. Height of Summer, but no queues.

Located in groundfloor and next to entrance to Ateneum museum. Good selection of cakes, simple bistro style menu. Situated near train station. Good and practical meeting point.
I wasn’t to the Ateneum Museum this time, but I visited their bookshop and when I was there I decided to have lunch at their restaurant, Ateneum Bistro, which has tasty buffet lunch to moderate prices. Friendly staff.
After visiting the Gallery we thought about having a lunch break and went to the Ateneum Bistro. The Mango Cheesecake I ordered was very delicious. They also had a lot of glutenfree and lactosefree options which were also good labeled.
