Having been shown to seats in the dark interior, expectations were not high. However, service was reasonable and the food generally good, certainly a lot better than some. The toilet could do with a clean or better still a complete refit.
Although this is an ancient boulagerie, we did not like our galettes: compared to other galettes we tried, these were a little bit tasteless. Anyway the creperie is small but cosy.
this bakery/café is tucked away near the river. well worth a visit just to sit and read/look at the wonderful old photos on the walls. very historical and delightful staff, not to mention the yummy pastries and bread!!!
Came on a Sunday morning around 10:00 for a breakfast, as advertised on the facade, but as viennoiseries were sold out. Moderately pleasant staff. No menu presented. One may want to check how the boulangerie is stocked up before taking a seat.
The boulangerie is split into 2 shops: the cake/bread section and the cafe on the other side. We stopped here for lunch, great serves. then you can walk to the bakery and choose your own cake to go with your coffee/tea.
