The view of this place is amazing. However, it has a tourist trap, the credit card. We had to buy unwanted items because we did not meet the minimum fee of credit card that is not written anywhere. Definitely not nice
Not many other options at Col de Bavella. We just got in for a cup of coffee, but seemed to disturb the staff that were supposed to serve us. Staff smoking inside. Good coffee, reasonable prices.
This place serves simple but great food, exactly what you need after a long drive or hike in those beautiful mountains. The service is friendly. The view from the terrace is inexplicably awesome.
We stayed inside, due to the strong wind, I guess it could be nicer to eat on the terrace, the view is splendid! Omelette with the local brocciu cheese was good and revitalizing, after a nice walk in the wood.
We did the hike to the ‘Trou de la bombe’. This path was well indicated. It is not the case for all of them. If you stay a few day, get a detailed map (IGN blue ones).
