Great cheese tasting. Small room seating only ca 15 people. Tried many kinds of cheese and the host told the story behind each of them. Go for the accompanying premium wine package. It is worth it.
I was looking forward to the experience after hearing so much about it. I would give it a high mark for its uniqueness as a gourmet experience. However, at 125Euros per person, I think it is way overpriced.
We stopped here just to buy lovely cheese, but we ended up taking also great wine.When you don’t know it, you won’t find it, but luckily our gps did it’s job 😉
If you ask a person from Basel if he knows Ferrette, he’ll answer No. If you ask the same person if he knows Anthony and his cheese, he’ll say Yes.
Loved the foid and special attention to my vegan plate. The other’s.. enjoyed it all as well Go for it you will not regret.
Our tasting had been arranged by my family. What a wonderful experience, not to mention the variety of cheeses and regional wines. Lack of French was immaterial: we thoroughly enjoyed this unique experience and highly recommend it for food lovers visiting the region.
