A La Tete de Lard specializes in Alsatian food. Their Tartes Flambees, or Flamenkuchen, are the best in the city. They have 8 varieties and house special is the best. It’s near Petit France but far enough away that it’s not crowded with the tourists.
Perfect if you want the traditional Alsace experience. The tarte flambée is great, the wine is well priced and the setting is lovely.

We enjoyed this dinner at „a la tête de lard“, especially the tarte flambée. We were happy that there were more choices of vegetarian options on the menu than other French restaurants offer.
