Laouz* was born from the meeting between East and West. His contemporary vision of Algerian pastry, combines flavours of yesterday and today, for a colourful journey. From a traditional recipe, a palette of flavours is offered to the sight of the gourmands... Almond, poppy, grapefruit, praline or pistachio dziriette? Laouz opened its first Parisian boutique in January 2016, at 136 rue St Honor, Paris 1. After several months of trials with an Algerian pastry chef and some family secrets, the pastries are ready. Faithful to the ancestral know-how, the production is carried out every day in a traditional way. The recipes are enriched with natural organic extracts that explore various horizons: Yuzu, poppy, matcha tea, marshmallow, pistachio, chocolate... * Laouz means almond in literary Arabic.
