Face au Large Restaurant faces the white sand beach of Port d'Albret Lac Marin (lagoon) at Soustons Beach, across from Vieux Boucau. The food is French, with many regional Landais dishes (duck and salted hams), grilled meats, sweet and savory crepes, and fresh seafood in summer. From about May to September, guests come from all over for the fresh mussels grilled with a delicious "secret" sauce! Cocktails and tapas, 2 beers on tap, several choices for wine, and a full array of juices, sodas and shakes. Artisanal ice cream in 20+ flavors. Indoor seating for 30, room heated in winter. Plenty of room for large parties, banquets and events. The sunny terrace overlooks the sandy beach, with some tables shaded by trees and parasols.
