We are regulars at this restaurant because it is so good and reasonable. The self-service starters and puddings are fantastic. And the mains are good too.This is a dependable place. I highly recommend it.
Moved here some time ago and this is the local restaurant on the south side of Mortain. Annique runs the place – locals flock in for set lunch, limited evening menu attracts locals and tourists. Good quality, simple fare.
We had a nice meal while holidaying in mortain. Self-service starters and deserts which were good and both my partner and I enjoyed our steak mains. Very informal, almost like a canteen but reasonably priced and we left full.
Often have eaten here lunch time. On this occasion we visited in the evening. We were not disappointed. Had the 17€ set menu with buffet starter and dessert. We ordered steak and a kangaroo steak. All perfectly cooked and delicious.
