On the Contentin peninsula, within driving distance of the Normandy beaches and several ancient castles. There is also a hotel connected with the restaurant. The English translation is "Old Castle Inn," and it lives up to its name----there is an old castle ruin directly across the street. This restaurant was recommended to us by the proprietor of the bed & breakfast we stayed at: she felt it was one of the best in the area both for quality and value, and we agreed with her.
