About
It is at 37 rue Saint-Etienne des Tonneliers, a quiet little backstreet that runs parallel to Quai de la Bourse, that Gill has opened its "little brother". Linked to the main restaurant by a simple backyard, the two restaurants are not only close in terms of distance, but also in terms of character. Gilles and Sylvie Tournadre have entrusted the success of Le 37 to the capable hands of Gill's former sous-chef, Sylvain Nouin. The same principle when it comes to the food, but in a more minimalistic setting with a reduced menu and the focus resolutely on "world food". Le 37 customers can enjoy light dishes, such as the chicory and parmesan crumble, served with young spinach shoots in nut oil, the salmon mi-cuit in a light cream with pickles or the caramelised knuckle of pork with lemon.
