About
This small restaurant in the central square looked promising but we had a bad experience here. The proprietress knocked my full glass of cider as she placed my plate on the table, broke it, flooded my new, white pants with cider as well as sprinkling my new hardback book, and showed scant remorse for what was totally her fault. She offered me kitchen paper to mop myself and brought me a new glass of cider but would not let us move to another table. I changed chairs anyway, as mine had a wet seat, but I had to eat with soaked thighs which ruined my lunch. I thought we would at least be offered free drinks in compensation - not a bit of it! We asked for the bill as soon as possible: 35 euros for a plate of couscous and a Quercy salad, my cider and my husband's Fanta orange. The proprietress said he was entitled to a fruit salad with his couscous but when he waived it aside she didn't even offer us coffee instead. We left still wet and disappointed.
