Very nice and good place, the waitress was very kind and taking care of everything. The service was a bit slow, we ordered muscles and it took a bit of time. In any case, the food was incredibly yummy

We enjoyed eating outside (the street seems to be blocked off to cars). The staff was friendly, and we split a nice cassoulet (not the absolute best I’ve had, but pretty good).

Packed to the brim with locals. Chef is very good – if it goes about starters and main courses. Desserts indistinct. Prices more than reasonable – menu for 17 euros. Reservation obligatory. One of the main reasons to visit Ales.

Despite their website saying that it was open from 18:30 to 22:30 every day, and a scribbled message in the window saying that it was closed on Wednesday, it was closed when we turned up for dinner on Sunday evening without any explanation.

Returned to this restaurant after seven years and was happy to find the food and service as lovely as in the past.

We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. Really friendly and efficient staff, despite the place being almost full on a Monday night. The food was all good, although the prawns were a little overdone. Great deserts and wine- overall a great experience.
