Ate here as it was first restaurant in Brissac to open and after 80 miles on the bike I had to eat ! Food was OK but did not rate it higher than other places I had eaten this trip.
Slightly disconcerting to be the only customers when we entered, but were made very welcome by the young owner(?)/waiter. Interesting menu with local specialities and some local wines available by the glass. Good food, well cooked and presented, and a pleasant, slightly quirky dining room.
Enjoyed a lovely meal with friends, host explained the menu very well in English for us, choice of 2 or 3 courses, good value, lovely presentation and atmosphere. Well looked after from the minute we walked in the door.
