The starters were amazing my husband had the marrow and myself the egg of the month. The mains were very traditional and home cooking type beef stew. Very flavoursome.
You have to walk all the way to the end of Rue St. Nicolas, past countless restaurants but you are rewarded with good food and efficient service. We had the set menu and a carafe of rose and it was an excellent lunch
We enjoyed a delicious dinner outside and appreciated our server assisting us with some English translations! All of our entrees were delicious and well-prepared, and the accompanying vegetables were particularly good. Enjoyable meal.
We really enjoyed the first and main dishes. The service was also great and the prices reasonable. Desserts, however, fell short considering other dishes. If you are in Saumur, this is a nice place to eat dinner.
Lovely people, delicious food, well priced and well presented. Would definitely recommend and will go back next time we are in Saumur
