Located at Hidelberg castle (Schloss) entrance. The place is amazing, as you can see in the picture. Friendly staff and good food. I ordered schnitzel and it was delicious. Average price (€ 30 for two people).

Burgfreiheit gives you a nice break from the crowds at the castle. We ate in the beer garden so we had a nice view of the castle. The food is good, nothing too remarkable. The prices are average. The staff was friendly.
