About
The Yum is a modern Thai bar restaurant situated in central Munich. You can find it between Grtnerplatz and the Viktualien market in the Isarvorstadt district. The restaurant has an Asian feel and serves typical and traditional Thai wok dishes served with rice or noodles. Crocodile curry is one of the more unusual dishes offered on the menu. There is a rich variety of vegetarian dishes which are toned down to suit the European palate. The dining area has black painted walls with dimly glowing Buddha figures and Asian ornaments. There are also two adjoining private rooms. Asian sounds, Thai sliced cuisine and traditional lemon grass cocktails give the place an authentic feel. The name of the restaurant (YUM means mixed) ties the restaurant's traditional cuisine into the modern lounge-like setting.
